It’s all about the wool now!

I am participating in a 100 Day Challenge sponsored by Wooland.com. I have ordered a wool hoodie tunic, the Everett, and plan to use it for the challenge. I’ll be wearing it every day for 100 days. I will need to document this in order to qualify for the gift certificate, so my thought is to use this lonely little blog to do so. And to best accomplish that, I have reverted all my prior posts to drafts so they will not show. I’m sure they won’t be missed.

Thus, when you see a daily post with a picture of me in the same top, that is what is going on! Oh, it won’t start until we get back from our latest cruise although the tunic will arrive while we are gone. Wish me luck – I will need to be wearing it daily during our January cruise as well. I only hope it’s true that wool works in warm and cold temps.

So, why wool? It’s natural, renewable, biodegradable, breathable, easy to clean, and odor resistant to name just a few things. I look forward to doing much less laundry.

Plus, after doing a lot of reading and researching, it’s the best way to start to remove synthetics from my life. The fast fashion industry has taken hold and we are so prone to impulse buys, then just tossing/donating when we’re done. I want to move away from this, reshape my wardrobe, and be comfortable and presentable at the same time.
